Insta-Snow is an amazing powder that mixes with water into a white fluffy fake snow that looks just like the real thing.
Insta-snow is sodium polyacrylate, a water-absorbent polymer used in detergent and diapers. Insta-snow could be used for science lessons, especially chemistry and the chemistry of polymers. For instance, add regular table salt to see the snow "melt."
The water will evaporate within a few days, returning the insta-snow to its original powdered form which can be reused.

Learning Wrap-ups

Learning Wrap-Ups are mathematical manipulatives that reinforce various operational skills. This video demonstrates addition; there's also subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. Students wrap the string from the problem on the left to the answer on the right and flip the wrap up over to check their work. If they've done it correctly, the string will match the lines shown on the back.
Each Wrap-up includes 10 self-correcting boards. Also available in classpacks.

Raised Line Paper

Some children with special needs or alternative learning styles benefit from additional sensory input as they learn. One product we carry that provides that is Raised Line Paper. The blue lines are raised off the page, providing extra tactile feedback to a child learning to write.
